Project Introduction

Nanjing Party History Museum is a key tribute project for the Centenary of the Communist Party of China. Designed with the conception of "Vessel of Rejuvenation", it echoes the "Ship of Victory" of the Memorial Hall for the Victory of the Crossing-the-Yangtze River Campaign, connecting the red historical context across eras.

Covering a total exterior wall area of 8,000 ㎡, the project fully adopts red chiseled textured panels. Standard panels measure 2200mm × 1200mm. Oversized components are installed via dry-hanging system with back-mounted steel frames. The giant three-dimensional five-pointed star shape on the facade imposes extremely strict requirements on panel precision and surface consistency.

The team overcame technical challenges involving irregular panels and three-dimensional decorative surfaces. The red texture shines brilliantly under night lighting. The vigorous and plain concrete surface interprets the pioneering and guiding spirit embodied in the century-long history of the Communist Party of China.
